Renault for American market

In 1958, a car called Renault Floride was presented at the Paris Motor Show.

And for the American market, another name was chosen - Caravelle (probably so that residents of other states would not be offended).

The car had an 845 cm3 engine with a power of 35 hp, located at the rear. The drive is on the rear wheels.

A total of 117,113 cars were produced.

Production ceased in 1967.
